Credit Analyst

Position Summary

The Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements on current and potential borrowers. To evaluate the financial condition and degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to individuals and/or businesses. Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Obtain information and analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
2. Analyze and report on loan data provided by credit bureaus, financial records, and other financial institutions in regard to new, renewing, and existing borrowers/loans.
3. Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers’ financial status.
4. Review and prepare written analyses, spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions and prepare or assist in the preparation of loan memorandum for presentation to lenders and/or loan committees.
5. Maintain the commercial financial information loan files.
6. Perform commercial loan collateral/floor plan audits.
7. Perform internal small business loan audits of documentation and officer risk ratings.
8. Monitor loan covenants.
9. Monitor borrowing base and stock secured margins on selected commercial loans.

This is a full-time non-exempt position with hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Successful Candidate will be organized, efficient and able to work independently or with a team. They must have strong mathematical and analytical skills. They must have the ability to understand financial data and apply those skills as they pertain to the loan underwriting process. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study, with prior banking experience preferred.

Loan Operations Assistant, Kent Office

The Loan Operations Assistant will assist the Supervisor and the Clerk with all areas within the Loan Operations Department. To include items within the secondary market and escrow analysis. The position supports loan servicing functions, delivers comprehensive and prompt customer service to internal and external customers and exercises quality control oversight in the execution of all duties.
Duties and Responsibilities

1. New loan set-up process including uploading, tax contracts, welcome letters and payment processing set up, and data entry into loan system.
2. Assist with Secondary Marketing with locking loans, which includes but not limited to locking loans, updating and extending locks.
3. Assists in managing review of loan documentation to ensure files contain correct and necessary documents for sale in the secondary market.
4. Establish (deliver) contracts for Secondary Market loans.
5. Administrative tasks on all paid off loans.
6. Assist with semi-annual property tax payment and follow up on all property tax issues for serviced loans. Monitor and follow up with members on past due property taxes including force placing escrow as needed.
7. Assist with annual escrow analysis and pre-audit.
8. Make adjustment to incorrect payment postings.
9. Monitor and post payment for SBA and other commercial loans.
10. Provide system updates with term changes regarding all loans.
11. Provide daily loan reports for chief Lending Officer.
12. Assist with end of month reports.
13. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.
14. Other duties, as assigned.

This is a full-time non-exempt position with hours Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Successful candidate will preferably have prior experience with residential mortgage and/or consumer loan servicing of at least 2 years. They will have computer experience and be proficient in with Microsoft products and experience with loan processing software is a plus.

Information Technology and Operations Coordinator

The Information Technology & Operations Coordinator assists in maintaining network servers, network hardware, and computers. The Coordinator will maintain operating systems along with troubleshooting and resolution on these systems. Installation and repair of hardware will also be involved. The position will also include assisting the Operations Officer with tasks as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Answers “help‐desk” questions in operation and use of personal computers and network.
• Performs problem resolution involving computer hardware and software.
• Performs computer technician tasks such as personal computer hardware repair, installation and setup; establishing and maintaining connection.
• Performs daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual maintenance, such as updates and back‐ups.
• Provide support to bank personnel by performing a variety of operational, administrative, project, and technical duties to provide retail banking support.
• Maintains inventory of computer hardware and software.
• Researches requests for new IT initiatives, as approved by the Technology Committee/Operations Officer/Senior Management.
• Works in conjunction with bank employees and vendors to change/update the bank’s information technology environment.
• Assists Operations Officer in network design specification and modifications.
• Assists Operations Officer in determining and evaluating network and personal computer hardware specifications and needs.
• Assists Operations Officer and vendors with the installation and configuration network servers, network hardware, personal computers.
• Assists in the operation of bank network servers, including; operating system, file storage user access, problem resolution, and security.
• Trains bank personnel on the proper use of computers, programs, and hardware of the bank.
• Acts as recording secretary for the monthly Technology Committee meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

This is a non-exempt position with hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Some evening/weekend hours may be required.

Successful Candidate will have knowledge of banking, branch operations and accounting principles. Prior banking experience of 3 years or more is preferred. Some college experience in related field of study is preferred.

Commercial Loan Officer

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining loans primarily to customers for commercial, small business, professional, construction, and commercial real estate purposes. It involves calling upon potential or existing customers to cultivate new loans, maintain current banking relationships, and promote business development.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Interviews loan applicants to develop financial needs and determines financial credit worthiness
• Gathers pertinent financial data, prepares a thorough credit analysis, loan presentation, and determines the acceptable risk and structure of the loan that comply with the Bank’s underwriting standards
• Grants loans within lending authority and makes recommendations to the loan committee on loans above their lending authority
• Closes loans, assuring conformity with all regulations and proper documentation
• Ensure that the customers total financial service needs are identified and met and that customer relationships are strengthened through the consistent delivery of quality customer service
• Contacts delinquent customers (when appropriate) to collect on past due loans
• Work with Branch personnel in the expansion and promotion of bank products and services to existing and new or prospective deposit and lending customers
• Represents the bank in various civic and community organizations to further enhance its image and develop additional business both during and after bank office hours
• Additional related duties may be assigned
This is a full-time exempt position with hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Some evening hours may be required.

Successful Candidate will have prior banking experience with emphasis on commercial lending of at least 2-3 years. The candidate must have good communication skills with some managerial experience. They must have the ability to sell products and services to clients. A Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study and/or three years of comparable work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. We are looking for someone that has strong customer service skills that is self-directed and is growth oriented. The candidate must have the ability to analyze various financial statement and tax returns. is detail orientated, organized, has strong customer service skills, a self-motivator, and can multi-task and prioritize.
